Serra do Corvo Branco

Corvo Branco ridge is located 27 km from the center of Urubici, with the last 6 km of unpaved road.

Its scenic beauty is impressive, as it has the largest cut in sandstone, made to build a road in Brazil, with 90 meters high and 180º curves to take your breath away.

It received its name due to a rare bird with white plumage and colorful details, known as King Vulture. This bird, unknown to the local inhabitants, was mistakenly nicknamed the crow, giving rise to the name Corvo Branco.

The region is considered one of the most important recharging points for the Guarani Aquifer, which is one of the largest underground water reservoirs in the world.
